Not sure why the OP bothered resurrecting it either. Worthy of a ban? Haven't had a good one for awhile.

You'd ask your accountant and get them to do it for you. They will advise the most efficient way to handle your money based on the figures you supply them.
At least you are consistent anyway.
It's just simple outsourcing, just like they do with IT, marketing and many other aspects of their business that isn't directly related to what they do.
I don't think any of that theory included a global pandemic TBF.
A drunk/drugged up lady hit my wall on the 2nd of Dec at high speed killing her passenger on the 2nd Dec and being 1am I was the only one up and first to the scene. Very gnarly indeed. I'd checked...
Many people have.

Odd pairing but I do love a good wedding.
Real name isn't sensative data as it doesn't identify the person due to many other people having the same name so I think its fine.
If it was linked to an address, dob or any other secondary...
Still, just because the working practices mean you are inside you are still an independant contractor supplying services to a client. Contractor mindset should always be client regardless. If it's...
But it's key to understand who's money it is and how the flow works. At some point knowing that will make the difference between getting a better deal or not and other issues you may come across.
It's not an opinion. It's a correct understanding of the flow of money.
Your manager? Contract? Does not compute.
But how many were charged? We saw with the extinction rebellion they were just letting them go an hour later and they just went back to the spot they were arrested at.
So there was no real point asking the question then as you've completely ignored all the advice.
To try see it from their point, next to nobody got charged for BLM riots, the activist occupied state things, the extinction rebellions and probably most large scale public disobedience carry ons on...
The wall had insurace? Phew
Correct but it's creating a commercial loan rather than a directors loan in which case it can go on for as long as he wants. A directors loan has to be paid 9 months after the current tax year he's...
You need to know if your agent is on a fixed percentage comission. If they are then not a chance. It's always good to ask them this right off the bat when you are being put forward. Agents, for all...
Bad ideas aside then yes. It's not due to be paid until the figures have been submitted and calculated.
If you are completely happy you can repay it when it's due and willing to suffer any...
Excellent. I've no idea why but I'm gonna keep an eye on that.
I'm having a bit of a problem with my man servant.
Well lets get your man servant out and lets have a look then.
What? No, not that man servant. My Man Servant
etc etc
We are starting to get a trickle of people who've made a mistake MVL'sing and now reaslising they can't go back contracting for two years so worth a check point to ask.
At least I didn't give him...
Still not a patch on Lings Cars.
You really sure you want to liquidate? No going back to LTD contracting for two years.
Erm.. I best be closing my account then. :igmc:
For sure. Bit like this guy for example? https://www.contractoruk.com/forums/accounting-legal/141909-mvl-entrepreneurs-relief-starting-new-ltd-company-3.html#post2851394:eyes
Yeah because that's my job and I'm ****ing good at it.
Who says 'Ask your accountant' isn't good advice :D
Wrong area of the forum for gormless rants.
No winking in prof.
And WGAS.
1/10. tulip post.
General please.
But the £100 isn't income. It's irrelvant for the books as it's not a cash figure. 4k is cold hard cash on the books. I think you are way over thinking this.
So where do you think interest on the business bank account falls?
Surely all income to the company is counted when calculating profit. Are you saying this 4k isn't counted as profit at the end of...
I'm sure said organisation would be quite happy to pay him now before he's put the invoice in. :grin
Why don't the do it now just in case it does rise next year? :winker:
They'd provide due diligence and ask for evidence.
Wow.. And you are still carrying on :rollin:
Re-write your question with a very clear distinction between the director of the company, paying the company and you as an individual who is completely separate to the company and see if it makes any...
Oh dear.
So much wrong with this question it's untrue. Dunno where to start but it's not an expense until it's been paid. That alone closes this silly thing down.
This level of ridiculousness would be very...
And I thought I was being discreet :emb
Give me a moment to get up off the floor!! :eek
It's the moment you've given your kids, your dog and your deceased father in law a directorship and shares in the company.
HTH
Did Fraidycat get it wrong again? Whodathunk it.
He's kind of right but he's still got it wrong, as usual.
They have LTD's on board when they do the SDS. That means they will determine the role is inside AND THEN force them down the brolly...
And I'd also be tempted to go with this as well unless there is a fixed margin in place. That said my current client expects a ten or so percent cut on the first renewal. My agent swallowed some of...
Not always. I believe some contracts state you are not allowed to discuss rate with clients. I've never had one but people have mentioned them on here. You could ask before you sign the contract I...
I'd be pushing more towards 97%/3%
Arghhh. I think I've given Fraidy's inane ramblings some +ve rather than -ve rep. Can someone re-dress the balance for me please.
If there was a point there you spoilt it by sounding like a pompus ass.
I don't think this is true at all. As we move towards the April legislation the landscape is changing. Same number of roles offered same number of contractors (broadly speaking) so people are having...
