    Anyone in Cornwall?

Under the "Connecting Cornwall" project, has anyone here got any knowledge of the FTTP offering that is pretty common over there?

From the hardware being installed in the cabinets and on the poles around me, under the equivalent "Connecting Devon and Somerset" project, it looks like I'm going to get FTTP.

I'd like to know what the speed and cost offerings are. The BT website is particularly unhelpful in this matter.

Any information at all would be good. Thanks.

I thought BT had fallen out with the council and they're now suing each other.
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

I've been looking at buying a house in the Newquay area. If you have a look on rightmove.co.uk for property in the appropriate area/street, there's a link on the house advert page to what internet packages/speeds are available in the area.

That's interesting LM. Do you plan moving there or is it BTL?

(Been thinking about moving as well...)

Would be more dividing my time between Manchester, London and Cornwall than just London and Manchester. Always enjoyed the surf/beach lifestyle down there (not to mention the fresh food and the cider!) and plan is to eventually settle on the Manchester/Cornwall side once London has provided sufficiently to effect Plan RatRaceEscape.
