Message duplication between native app and O2 TU app

I live in an are where there's no O2 reception so I use their TU app to receive messages and calls over my wireless broadband.

As soon as I get back into an area where there's 4G coverage, all the messages that I've already read in the TU app are flagged as new messages & I get a slew of notifications.

This annnoys me. Is there anyway of sycnchronising the 2 apps?

And, no. I don't want to move to another provider. Wouldn't touch EE or Vodafone with a bargepole.

But stick with a provider that has no coverage and annoys you. Right smart that is.

The only place that has no O2 coverage is Sockieland. Its next door to Nambia.

I thought they had got rid of Tu Go in favour of using WiFi calling.

        Maybe update/upgrade your phone.

I won't use Vodafone because of their sponsorship and I won't use EE because of their execrable foreign call centres. And isn't everything that's not Vodafone either EE or EE in disguise anyway?

I've always been happy with O2 customer service.

Actually I think you'd find that everything is O2, Vodafone or EE.

Anything else just piggy backs on one of these.

Vodafone have the best network coverage. I was on O2, then Orange/EE and the coverage was rubbish in the village I was in. But Vodafone was way better. Worth trying it, what sponsorship is it that is bothering you?
