Uses for an old Sky+ box

Sky just upgraded us to Sky Q so we now have a couple of old Sky+ HD boxes going spare. One with On Demand the other not, with a Sky On Demand wireless box.

Any suggestions on what they could be used for other than as a FreeView box?

Hardly worth the effort. They sell for £10-15 each, by the time you account for PayPal fees and the hassle of getting boxes to post them it it's not worth it.

Good for balancing monitors on for a bit of extra height in lieu of Argos catalogues....

Paypal often run "no seller fee" promotions and put it as buyer collects.

Then put the £15 towards another BTL property.
