    Default Umbrella/Agency HMRC details

    Hi

    Does anyone know what (if any) information an umbrella or agency is obliged to submit to HMRC

    Agencies will be required to let HMRC know the details of any workers who are not employed on a PAYE basis, including the following details:

    • Your full name (including any middle names)
    • Your address (including postcode)
    • Your NI number OR gender and date of birth
    • A unique taxpayer reference (UTR) for people who are self-employed or members of a partnership. This doesn’t apply to people working through a PSC
    • Your limited company details (including registered address). This includes umbrella company details.

    Hi demby,

    Along with the reporting information cojak has listed that is sent by the recruiters on a quarterly basis, the financial data (PAYE) is sent to HMRC by the umbrella employer each and every time the worker is paid through an RTI (Real Time Information) submission.
