Want to use YOUR preferred Umbrella? Read this

There's a chap on LinkedIn who's suggesting that contractors are pushing back on agencies PSLs.

    Robert Sharp's LinkedIn post

It may be worth adopting this approach if you can afford to walk away from the contract...

But please read https://www.contractoruk.com/forums/...-umbrella.html and ensure you pick a legitimate umbrella which is paying you correctly with everything appropriately taxed before it reaches your bank account or pension..

Ultimately a business can choose who they trade with.

An employment lawyer will take a long look at this, take a big fee and then conclude the above.

Turns out it's not accurate - Robert Sharp on LinkedIn: #ir35 #reform #umbrella | 10 comments and Andy is correct.

Annoying for the small umbrella companies but perfectly understandable and better than the mess that would have otherwise occurred when poeple tried to use a tax advantagous / adventurous option.

Must admit I couldn't see how it would go any other way, particularly as its the same answer as when we asked about agents only offering opt out contracts.

              Rats.

              I’ll unstick it then.
