We're looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who:
Have extensive experience providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs in a school setting.
Have experience supporting children with a range of needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.
Have strong phonics knowledge and experience, with the confidence to support early reading using recognised phonics programmes and reinforce literacy skills through targeted interventions.
Can confidently adapt learning to meet individual needs and learning styles.
Build positive, trusting relationships while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning.
Are calm, patient, adaptable, and resilient when managing challenging situations.
Work effectively as part of a wider school team and communicate confidently with teachers and SEND professionals.
Hold (or are willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.Your Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant through TimePlan Education, you may:
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional learning, communication, or behavioural needs.
Deliver personalised interventions, including phonics and literacy support, to help pupils make measurable progress.
Work closely with class teachers and SENDCos to implement individual education plans and behaviour strategies.
Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, communication, and emotional regulation.
Promote an inclusive, safe, and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
