About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the potential for extension. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of essential equipment within the water sector.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and inspection of plant and equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out corrective actions to minimise downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Essential Skills & Experience
Relevant Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Full UK Driving License.
Proven experience working within the water sector (clean or wastewater).
Strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
