Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) – Immediate Start
We are seeking an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join our team on a 3-month initial placement.
Key Requirements:
Recent IRO experience – essential
Available to start within 4 weeks
In-depth knowledge of Looked After Children legislation, processes, and statutory guidance
Minimum 3 years’ permanent post-qualification experience (DfE compliant)
Must be able to work on site at least 3 days per week Responsibilities include:
Chairing Looked After Children Reviews
Conducting Secure Accommodation Reviews
Attending Child Sexual Exploitation and Missing from Care meetings
Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidanceDetails:
£40 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella) inlcusive of holiday pay or £27.27 Paye Exolusive of holiday pay
Free car parking on site
Office base: L6 3BH
