Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in Bury. This role will begin in November 2025 and will run until the end of the academic year.
You will work closely with class teachers to provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional needs, including those with ASC, ADHD and speech & language difficulties. Your role will be vital in helping children access learning and build confidence in a supportive and inclusive environment.
The successful candidate will:
Have prior experience supporting children with SEND, ideally in a school setting
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be resilient, flexible and able to adapt to different needs across the school
Show a nurturing and patient approach, with high expectations for all learners
