We are looking for an experienced Section Engineer (or Senior Engineer) to support the delivery of key airport infrastructure projects in Manchester. This includes works on stands, taxiways, runways, and airside civil engineering packages. The role requires strong technical knowledge, site coordination skills, and familiarity with aviation protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver civil engineering works related to airport infrastructure.
Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure timely and safe delivery.
Ensure compliance with airside safety and operational standards.
Conduct site surveys, defect tracking, and produce CAD documentation.
Liaise with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
Ability to perform setting out duties if required
Requirements
Experience as a Section Engineer or Senior Engineer.
Proven background in airport stands, runways, taxiways, or airside operations.
Strong civil engineering expertise: groundworks, concrete, earthworks, infrastructure.
CSCS card and airside clearance (preferred).
CAD proficiency and defect tracking experience
