Teaching Assistant – Nursery
Start Date: After October Half Term
Contract: Until Christmas (with potential extension into the New Year)
We are currently seeking two qualified Teaching Assistants (Level 2 or above) to join a welcoming nursery class within a supportive primary school setting.
Role Overview:
The successful candidates will work closely with the class teacher to provide high-quality support to nursery-aged children, helping to create an engaging and nurturing learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering planned activities and learning opportunities
*
Assist with children’s personal, social, and emotional development
*
Provide 1:1 and small group support where required
*
Help to maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Requirements:

Level 2 (or higher) Teaching Assistant qualification – essential
*
Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*
A passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
