The successful candidate will provide operational management support in specific relation to the Financial elements of Global Risk sub-functions. In addition, specifically support the Global Risk Strategy and ME Chief Operating Officer in the delivery of activities to the Sub-Functions and relevant Global Risk EXCOs.

Activities

a) Management of cross-Risk activities, including interacting with and influencing the Global Risk Management team

b) Undertaking of key CAO activities for the Global Risk CAO for Risk Strategy and ME which include:

* Communications

* Event Management - ensuring set up appropriate events including conferences, exchanges, offsites, etc

* Continuous Improvement - driving positive change in processes, procedures, services etc. to deliver on financial, people or efficiency goals

* Financial Management - ensuring all financial targets are understood and actions can be taken as necessary and actuals vs AOP managed monthly including FTE

* Governance - demonstrating good governance and control across the Function

* Organisational Design - managing, developing and controlling the organisational design and implementation

* Policy & Standards - ensuring any COO/CAO Office-issued policies are well managed, communicated and implementation is tracked

* Business Continuity

c) Supporting the set-up of a core CAO capability in GSC to support the CAO activities across Risk.

The individual will need to be dynamic and service oriented with a can do attitude. It will be a critical element to ensure that the individual can prioritise and ensure it meets the ongoing needs.Please submit your CV in the first instance.
