Job title - Senior Business Analyst - Compliance Transformation Location - Sheffield (Remote working)Rate - £440 p/day via PAYE or £564.61 Umbrella Start date - ASAPContract - 6 months Our financial services client is currently seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join their Compliance Transformation team in the Sheffield office/remote working, this contract will initially be 6 months with a review to be extended. Compliance Transformation (CT) ensures effective and efficient definition, planning, management and execution of global change programmes related to financial crime risk, supporting the business teams to meet its regulatory commitments and covers key areas such as money laundering, sanctions and anti-bribery and corruption. Key requirements:Adaptable to a rapid Changing Landscape of varied data sources (Platforms / Applications / Manual Load Extracts)Works well within an Agile Delivery Team responding to demand vs critical application change activityCapable of independently leading on workstreams and stakeholders, handling complex and inter-department negotiationsAble to lead and support the delivery and User Acceptance Testing of new or enhanced data & business Rules within a standard Agile delivery cadence Able to define required and then source large data sets across systems and departments, working independently and directing other staff as requiredAble to cope with analysing Large Data sets / attributes from various sources (Helios / Engage / IRIS / Archer / SCM / manual upload files / Reference Data / CDR)Excellent communicator to help bridge the gap between Data Teams / Technology terminology and Business understanding on how things work and will be delivered including powerpoint skills to be able to create high quality presentationsFamiliar with Data Modelling - indepth understanding of the concepts of Data ; ETL / Standardisation / Tables / RelationshipsHas delivered or supported the delivery of a Data Lake / Data Source > Target Traceability Map / Data DictionaryAble to work closely with Business Data Owners to provide guidance on Future Data advancements and simplification on data use / business rules / storageCapable of presenting steerco updates and submissions to governance boards (both business and technical) If you are relevant or interested please don't delay, contact me on 0161 503 5522 /
