Principal Data Analyst

We have been at the forefront to support UK businesses through the various initiatives launched by the government during the COVID pandemic. This role into support the Government Lending Scheme data and analytics needs. This shall be achieved through a combination of validating and using large datasets, presenting analytics in a concise and meaningful way, communicating clearly with internal and external business partners, demonstrating attention to detail and sound business judgment, creating MI and reporting within the regulatory reporting framework.

Strong analytical reasoningHighly developed analytical skills to extract information from data; translate to business language and financial impactsAbility to manage time effectively to ensure delivery of multiple projectsWell developed oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate analysis and recommendations to colleagues at different levels of the organisationData literate with experience of manipulating large data sets via SAS / Python / RDegree level education in a numerate disciplineAbility to coach and manage analysts across levelsHave directly relevant experience of working in an analytical role within financial services or an alternative data driven organisationApplying analytical techniques to data to produce explanatory or predictive resultsMI and reporting development within regulatory reporting framework; experience in automation and data validationExposed to direct interactions with stakeholders and business colleagues at different levels of the organisationHave and maintain up to date knowledge and awareness of commercial and business issues that affect the job holder's role and responsibilitiesPlease submit CVs today!
