My client is looking to hire a PaaS- SQL developer to start on the project immediately. This role is a 3-months contract with a likely extension on C2C completely REMOTE. Unable to provide sponsorship now or in the future: Candidates MUST be US Citizens or GC holders. The client is an IT Services and IT consulting company that has been in the market since 1998. With an emphasis on continuous learning and focuses on new creative ideas to solve customer problems. We are looking for an experienced SQL Server developer responsible for analyzing existing databases and designing and implementing new solutions. Responsibilities: -Develop high-quality database solutions-Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL-Analyze and document existing SQL queries and stored procedures-Develop procedures and scripts for data migration-Provide database architecture recommendations Requirements: -7-15 years of experience as a SQL Server developer or similar role-Excellent understanding of T-SQL programming-Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server-Excellent understanding of relational database concepts-Excellent ability to troubleshoot common database issues-Familiarity with a public cloud provider (Azure or AWS, or GCP) and its data services-Familiarity with DevOps concepts-Critical thinking and problem-solving skills-Great team and client communication skills
