Functional Engineer - MES Project

Real Staffing are currently recruiting a Functional Consultant for a 12 month project (contract basis) to work with a innovative company that has developed a highly capable Open Source / Headless MES / MOS (Manufacturing Execution System / Manufacturing Operating System).The MES system can be tailored to many requirements for example to track wastage of expensive materials during manufacturing processes, BoM management, serial # and components tracking, time management, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and more.The Functional Consultant will run customer 'functional' workshops to capture requirements, take ownership of the functional design of the bespoke system, work with the Dev team to deliver.

Outside IR35 confirmed, remote working with a few days a month travel to meet the customer.

Although they don't need someone that has Manufacturing Execution Systems experience necessarily, they need someone that has a strong technical mindset and interest within Software/Embedded Software Engineering, Data and IIoT as well as the gravitas to lead customer functional meetings
