IT Project Manager

12 - 18 Month Fixed Term Contract

W. Gloucestershire, Hybrid Working - Includes some travel to London site (Full Compensation Provided)

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented IT Project Manager to join a multinational company in a role where you will have autonomy and potential to make an impact on the business.

This company are a global manufacturing company who operate in a number of industries and have been established for over 100 years. They have recently opened up a new business unit and are looking for a motivated IT Project Manager to run exciting IT Projects and assist in their IT Operations.

In this role you will be responsible for overseeing IT Projects including migrations, system updates / upgrades etc. You will organise and evaluate IT Data Operations and reporting, ensure security of data, network access and backups, working with the global Cyber Security Team and design, develop, implement and coordinate policies and procedures in line with global policies.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies, Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.), ERP Systems and knowledge of information analysis and computer hardware/ software systems.

The Role:

*Oversee IT Projects including migrations, system updates / upgrades, outages etc.

*Organise and evaluate IT Data Operations and reporting, ensure security of data, network access and backups

*Design, develop, implement and coordinate policies and procedures in line with global policies

*Based initially in Cinderford Office (2/3 days a week in office) with a requirement for London travel later in the role where the travel will be fully covered.

The Person:

*Proven experience in a similar role

*Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies and Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP etc.)

*Good knowledge of ERP Systems and information analysis and computer hardware/ software systems

*Must be commutable to Cinderford and happy to travel
