Python Software Developer Contract - Belgium (Leuven) Based - Onsite 5 days a week I am currently working with one of Europe's leading technology R+D companies and they have asked me to find them a Python Software Developer to join them for a long-term contract engagement. As the right engineer you will work on the realisation of Python software to interface with their existing tools and equipment, working within one of their in-house Hardware development teams. The Python scripting you develop will be used to control their hardware equipment and you will also be responsible for creating data processing scripts for the data that comes out of the equipment. Key Points:Python/C/C++/, OO programming.Programming on Linux/Windows (bash, batch, gcc, mingw-w64).Worked on codebase consisting of combination of C/C++ and Python.Provide end user support post code release.Experience in programming/working with electrical measurement instrumentation.Experience with communication Protocols: GPIB, TCPIP, USB, NI-VISA.Fluent in English is a must.The project will be an initial 12 month contract with a strong chance of an extension.
