This is a position open to contractors on a day rate - start is asap until 31/03/2023 and the role can be 100% remote.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Enterprise Software/Web Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web design, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, as well as experience leading the design and implementation of enterprise-level software systems.

Key responsibilites

Lead the design and development of enterprise-level web-based software systems, including the selection of appropriate technologies and design patterns.

Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that also provide optimal user experience.

Determine the technical requirements for a website or web application

Select appropriate technologies and platforms for development

Design and implement the overall structure and layout of a website or web application

Work closely with the development team to ensure that the website or application is built to specifications

Ensure the scalability, security, and performance of the web-based software systems.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams.

Participate in user research, usability testing and design reviews to ensure the best possible user experience.

Stay up-to-date with the latest web development technologies and industry trends, particularly in the area of UI/UX

Qualifications

Demonstrable experience in web design and development, with a focus on UI/UX

Strong experience with web development technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

Experience with scalable web architecture and web application performance optimization.

Experience with user research, usability testing, and UI/UX design tools.

Experience leading the design and development of enterprise-level software systems.

Experience with web architecture and design

Experience with web security and scalability

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

Strong understanding of web development technologies and platforms

Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
