Job Title: Data Architect - Databricks - dbt - Azure
Location: London - 2 days per week in the office
Salary/Rate: £500 per day inside IR35
Start Date: 13/07/2026
Job Type: Contract until the end of the year

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Enterprise Data Architect with strong Databricks, dbt and Azure experience to join their team for a contract until the end of the year.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

Mandatory Skills: Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL) , DBT , Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, CI/CD), SQL ,Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Data Factory)

Strong experience with Databricks (PySpark / Spark SQL)
Hands-on expertise in DBT
Expertise in Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, CI/CD)
Proficiency in SQL and Python
Experience with Azure Data Services (Data Lake, Data Factory)
Strong knowledge of Data warehousing and ETL/ELT concepts
Knowledge of Data governance and security best practices
Design and Leading the team of Data Engineers
Manage stakeholder interactions independently.Good to Have

Experience with Fivetran for data ingestion
Experience with Prefect for workflow orchestration
