The Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a large, project in Rugby. This is a freelance position with an immediate start, focused on supervising the electrical works within amenity areas and landlord supplies.

You will be responsible for day-to-day site supervision of specialist sub-contractors, ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise electrical installation works across amenity areas and landlord electrical supplies

Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors and operatives on site

Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and programme

Monitor quality of installation and ensure defects are addressed promptly

Oversee compliance with health & safety procedures and site rules

Coordinate with project management, other trades, and site management teams

Assist with planning, sequencing, and short-term programming of works

Support testing, commissioning, and snagging activities where required

Maintain accurate site records, progress updates, and reports

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on large construction projects

Strong understanding of landlord supplies and communal / amenity electrical systems

Ability to manage subcontract labour and maintain productivity on site

Solid knowledge of health & safety requirements and electrical regulations

SMSTS or SSSTS

CSCS card
