Site Engineer

RTL Group are seeking a site engineer to work to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major tunnelling and infrastructure project in Redcar.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically challenging scheme involving tunnelling, reinforced concrete structures, drainage, utilities and associated civil engineering works, with genuine opportunities for long-term career progression.

Responsibilities:

Setting out and surveying for tunnelling and civil engineering works.

*

Managing engineering control and site documentation.

*

Producing and maintaining accurate as-built records.

*

Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications.

*

Liaising with Site Managers, Sub Agents and the design team.

*

Managing QA documentation, ITPs and inspection records.

*

Supporting the delivery of reinforced concrete, drainage and structural works.

*

Coordinating subcontractors and resolving engineering queries.

*

Monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with project requirements.

*

Promoting the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.

Requirements:

*

Previous experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or tunnelling.

*

Experience with setting out using Leica, Trimble or similar survey equipment.

*

Strong knowledge of QA procedures and engineering documentation.

*

Experience working on major infrastructure, utilities, highways, rail or tunnelling projects.

*

HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

*

CSCS Card.

*

Full UK Driving Licence.
