Labourer
Location: EX10 9TE
Pay Rate: £13.69 per hour PAYE
Hours: Saturday to Wednesday, 7:30am - 3:30pm
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to support operational and maintenance teams across various sites and public areas.
This is a physically demanding role that involves working outdoors and assisting with a range of manual tasks. You'll play an important part in helping to maintain safe, clean and well presented environments for residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
Carrying out general labouring duties
Assisting tradespeople and maintenance teams as required
Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
Site clearance and keeping work areas clean and tidy
Supporting maintenance, environmental and improvement projects
Following health and safety procedures at all times
Reporting hazards, defects and safety concerns
Using tools and equipment safely and correctly
Working as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently
Requirements
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Able to carry out physically demanding work
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Good communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Good understanding of health and safety practices
Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential
Previous labouring, construction, grounds maintenance or similar experience would be advantageous
