Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for a new opportunity within a supportive secondary school environment? We are working with a fantastic school in Ealing who are seeking a skilled and organised individual to join their science department on a full-time basis from September 2026.

The Opportunity

As a Science Technician, you will provide essential technical support to the science department, ensuring practical lessons run smoothly and safely. You will work closely with teaching staff to prepare resources, maintain equipment, and support students during practical activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Prepare and organise equipment and materials for science lessons.

Support practical demonstrations and classroom experiments.

Ensure all equipment is maintained, stored safely, and readily available.

Manage stock levels and order resources when required.

Follow health and safety procedures, including COSHH regulations.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory environment.

Provide support to teaching staff across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

Requirements

Previous experience working within a science laboratory or education setting is desirable.

Good knowledge of laboratory equipment and health and safety procedures.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.

A proactive and reliable approach.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Right to work in the UK.
