About the Role
As a Plumbing Lecturer at Wolverhampton College, you will:
Deliver engaging and practical lessons across Plumbing programmes,
Plan and prepare learning activities that meet curriculum and awarding body requirements,
Support learners in developing both theoretical knowledge and hands-on industry skills,
Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement,
Create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment within classroom and workshop settings,
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure an outstanding learner experience.
What We’re Looking For
Industry experience within Plumbing or Building Services Engineering,
Strong practical knowledge of plumbing systems, installation methods, and health and safety requirements,
Excellent communication and organisational skills,
A passion for supporting and developing learners,
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable,
A valid or update-service DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
