Business Services Advisor

Location: Newbury, Berkshire, RG18

Pay Rate: £15.14 per hour

Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Hours: Choose from either:

37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (1-hour lunch)

40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm (30-minute lunch)

We are looking for a highly organised Business Services Advisor to join a busy and supportive team in Newbury. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a varied role, supporting the day-to-day running of business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and organisational support to the Business Services team
Maintain company computer files for customers and suppliers using internal databases
Carry out document control, including checking daily and monthly reports and completing end-of-month reporting for managers and customers
Support the coordination of external training
Assist with organising company events and liaise with external suppliers
Maintain service checks, contract review records, SDAs and PAT testing results
Assist with external accreditations
Maintain internal and external documentation
Manage business calendars, meetings and appointments
Support facilities management activities
Order stationery and office supplies
Support the maintenance and updating of internal software programmes
Provide general administrative support to colleagues as required
To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous experience in an administrative or business support role
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload effectively
A proactive approach and willingness to support the wider team
