KS3 & KS4 Tutor

The Opportunity

We're looking for experienced KS3 & KS4 Tutors to provide tailored 1:1 support to children and young people across Hampshire.

Working alongside Local Authorities, you'll support learners who require alternative educational provision due to a range of circumstances, including SEND, anxiety, school avoidance, and disrupted education. Your role will be to help students make academic progress, build confidence, and develop a positive relationship with learning.

With flexible hours and a September start, this is an excellent opportunity for education professionals looking to make a meaningful impact through personalised tuition.

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour
Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements

Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, mentoring, learning support, or similar roles
Experience delivering lessons at KS3 and/or KS4
Strong subject knowledge in one or more curriculum areas
Ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions
Experience supporting students with SEND or EHCPs is advantageous
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Patient, adaptable, and proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel within your local area

ADHD
Anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance
