Site Engineer

We're currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure project in Fareham.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile scheme with a well-established contractor, offering competitive day rates and an immediate start.

Location: Fareham
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: £350–£420 per day

Key Responsibilities:

* Setting out for highways and civil engineering works.

* Ensuring works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications.

* Producing and maintaining accurate site records.

* Liaising with site management, subcontractors, and the client.

* Carrying out quality assurance checks and ensuring compliance with project standards.

* Supporting the delivery of works safely, on time, and within budget.

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civil engineering projects.

* Proficient in setting out using GPS and total station equipment.

* Strong understanding of QA procedures and as-built records.

* CSCS card essential.

* Relevant engineering qualification (HNC, HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar).

* Full UK driving licence preferred.
