Passive Fire Surveyor

Channel Islands

Contract: 3-Year Fixed-Term Project £26ph - £28ph  + Occasional Overtime Available Accommodation: Shared Accommodation Provided

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Passive Fire Surveyor to join a long-term project based in the Channel Islands. This role offers the security of a three-year contract, shared accommodation and the opportunity to increase earnings through available overtime.

The successful candidate will carry out passive fire surveys across a range of residential and commercial properties, identifying defects, assessing compliance and producing detailed reports with recommendations for remedial works.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out fire door and compartmentation surveys.
Conduct intrusive and non-intrusive inspections where required.
Produce accurate survey reports and photographic records.
Identify defects and recommend remedial works.
Ensure compliance with current fire safety legislation and industry standards.
Liaise professionally with clients, residents and site teams.

Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience as a Passive Fire Surveyor, with the ability to carry out fire door, compartmentation and fire stopping surveys.
Level 3 Fire Door Inspection qualification (FDIS, BRE, BM TRADA or equivalent) and an NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Passive Fire Protection or a related discipline.
Good understanding of Approved Document B, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order and current passive fire legislation.
Experience producing accurate survey reports and remedial recommendations.
Full UK Driving Licence with strong communication, organisational and independent working skills.
