A welcoming and inclusive school in North London is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and help pupils reach their full potential.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with students who require additional support, helping them to access learning, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes both academically and socially.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEN
Supporting children with Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language needs, and other additional needs
Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teaching staffAbout You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Relevant qualifications or training are desirable but not essentialWhat the School Offers
