Banksman Required - Pembroke
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Banksman to join a major infrastructure project based in Pembroke. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile site, offering competitive rates and consistent hours over a 12-week contract.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe movement of vehicles and plant across site while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and guide the safe movement of vehicles and heavy plant on site.
Maintain safe traffic management practices within the work area.
Communicate clearly with plant operators using recognised hand signals and radio communication where required.
Ensure pedestrian and vehicle segregation is maintained.
Carry out daily safety checks and report any hazards or unsafe conditions.
Work closely with site management and operatives to ensure safe site operations.
Comply with all company health, safety and environmental procedures.
Essential Requirements
National Grid Persons training/accreditation.
Valid Banksman/Vehicle Marshal qualification.
Previous experience working on construction, utilities or infrastructure projects.
Strong understanding of site safety procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work safely within a busy operational environment.
What's on Offer
£25.00 per hour (Umbrella or CIS, where applicable).
