Class 1 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based across the UK. We are looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers (CAT C+E) to join the team.

Shifts: Monday to Friday

Hours: 09:00am starts

Pay Rate: £19.08 per hour PAYE, overtime after 40 hours £27.26 per hour PAYE

Location: Leeds, LS27

Job Type: Temp to Perm

The role:

* 6 to 8 Bulk Collections.

* Collaborate with a team to ensure efficient operations and timely Collections.

* Travel to local sites for a one-off download of the tacho card prior to being put forward for the position.

* Attend an on-site induction for the first shift.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).

* Have at least 12 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Less than 12 infringement points in any one month and no infringement points for three consecutive months.

* Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start time 09:00am to 18:00pm

* Ability to travel to local site for tacho card download prior to being put forward.

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Excellent communication skills.

* A safety-first mindset.
