Skilled Careers are recruiting on behalf of a well-established social housing contractor for a driven and customer-focused Call Centre Representative to work out of their Kings Norton Office

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with prospective tenants , responding to enquiries, and arranging appointments for the field-based contractors to go and rectify. You'll play a key role in supporting business growth while ensuring every tenant receives a professional and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound tenant enquiries in a professional and engaging manner.

• Contact tenants and following pre/post booked appointments 

• Qualify tenant requirements/issues  and book appointments for engineers.

• Build rapport with tenants and identify their needs through effective questioning.

• Maintain accurate customer records and update CRM systems accordingly.

• Send relevant information and literature to engineers when required.

• Achieve individual and team performance targets.

• Manage follow-up activity to maximise appointment conversion rates.

• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every tenant interaction.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in a call centre, telesales, customer service or appointment-setting role.

• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.

• Confident handling customer objections and overcoming barriers to book appointments or deal with queries.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• Comfortable using CRM systems and other computer-based applications.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours

Shift patterns may be discussed during the interview process, however the standard operating hours are:

• Primarily 8.30amam to 5:00pm

This is a temp/perm opportunity for the right individual, it is all office based and a minimum of 40 hours, you will be expected to get to Kings Norton on a daily basis, either by public transport, both trains and buses are close by or a vehicle
