Van Driver

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Tyneside area. We are looking for several dedicated Van Drivers to join the team.

Hours: Across Monday to Sunday, 08:00am - 08:30am starts

Pay Rate : £12.71 per hour PAYE

Location: Tyneside, NE11

Job Type: Temp to perm

The role:

* Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial)

* 80+ stops per day

* Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.

* Follow established delivery routes and schedules.

* Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.

* Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.

* Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

* A valid UK driver's license.

* have 1 years experience with multi-drop delivery

* Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offenses only).

* Have a recent DBS check or be willing to obtain one.

* Strong communication and customer service skills.

* Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.

* Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.

* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
