About this contract

HPC Consultant
Hours: 40 hours per month
Location: Fully remote
IR35: Outside IR35
Start: ASAP

We’re looking for an experienced Slurm / HPC Consultant to support, manage and optimise an existing Slurm deployment.

This is a highly focused assignment for someone who has genuine hands-on experience administering and improving Slurm environments, rather than simply using Slurm to submit jobs.

What we're looking for

Strong hands-on Slurm administration
Experience managing and optimising Linux / HPC clusters
Slurm configuration, troubleshooting and performance tuning
Experience improving scheduling, resource utilisation and job throughput

Experience supporting a semiconductor, ASIC or EDA development environment would be highly advantageous, particularly where Slurm is being used to manage large engineering compute workloads.
