Logistics Supervisor – Bedford

Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour
Hours: 07:30 – 17:00
Days: Monday – Friday
Duration: 3–6 years

We are currently looking for an experienced Logistics Supervisor to join a busy construction project in Bedford on a long-term basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction logistics professional looking for stable, long-term work.

Duties:

* Supervising day-to-day logistics operations on site

* Coordinating deliveries and vehicle movements

* Managing site access and traffic movements

* Supervising logistics operatives and traffic marshals

* Ensuring materials are moved and stored safely

* Liaising with site management, subcontractors and delivery drivers

* Maintaining high standards of health and safety across the site

* Supporting the Site Manager with general logistics requirements

* Ensuring site logistics plans and procedures are followed

Requirements:

* Previous experience as a Logistics Supervisor within construction

* SSSTS or higher

* Gold CSCS Card or higher

* Strong knowledge of construction site logistics

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* Ability to supervise teams and coordinate multiple activities

* Reliable, punctual and professional

* Relevant site experience
