We are currently recruiting for up to 6 Damp & Mould Maintenance Operatives to join a leading social housing maintenance contractor delivering repairs and property improvement works across the Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work with a well-established organisation, supporting residents by carrying out damp and mould treatments, minor repairs, and property maintenance works throughout the winter period.

The Role

Working within occupied social housing properties, you will be responsible for identifying, treating and preventing damp and mould issues, whilst also carrying out a range of minor repairs to improve living conditions for residents.
Typical duties will include:

Completing mould washes and mould treatment works
Internal painting and decorating following treatment works
Resealing baths, sinks and sanitary ware
Resealing windows internally
Minor repairs and general maintenance tasks
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
Communicating professionally with residents
Producing detailed reports following property visits and submitting findings accurately
Requirements

Previous experience in property maintenance, repairs, damp and mould treatment, painting and decorating, or social housing maintenance
Ability to carry out basic multi-trade repairs
Strong communication and customer service skills
Good written English, with the ability to complete reports and document findings clearly
Full UK Driving Licence
Own transport preferred
Experience working within occupied social housing properties is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
