Site Engineer

Site Engineer - Civils / Groundworks

Location: Argyll & Bute
Contract: 6 Month
Rate: £450-£500 p/d Inside IR35

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major civils project, supporting the delivery of groundwork's and civil engineering packages.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out setting out and surveying for civils and groundwork's activities.
Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications and approved procedures.
Manage and maintain ITPs, QA/QC documentation and site records.
Provide technical support to site teams and subcontractors.
Review drawings, raise technical queries and assist with resolving site issues.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, plant and labour as required.
Monitor progress and provide updates to the Site and Project Management teams.
Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
Maintain accurate as-built information and engineering documentation.Requirements

Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong background in groundwork's, earthworks and general civils.
Proven setting out and surveying experience.
Experience with ITPs, QA/QC and construction documentation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
CSCS card required.
Relevant Civil Engineering qualification desirable.
Experience with RC, drainage, highways or structures would be advantageous.
