Job Title: Team Leader
Location: Haverhill
Salary: £14 - £15p/h
Hours: Monday – Friday 2pm – 10pm
Contract: Full Time, temporary - ongoing
We're recruiting for an experienced Team Leader to lead a small team within a fast-paced and innovative manufacturing environment.
As Team leader, your responsibilities will include:
* Leading and motivating a small production team to achieve daily production targets
* Allocating work to meet production plans
* Promoting and maintaining a strong health & safety culture
* Conducting safety inductions and training
* Completing and maintaining risk assessments
* Monitoring quality standards
* Escalating engineering, quality, or material supply issues
* Driving continuous improvement through 6S, Standard Work, and Kaizen activities
* Collating daily production figures.
The ideal candidate for the Team Leader will have:
* Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within manufacturing or production
* Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures and risk management
* Experience leading, coaching, and developing teams
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 6S, or Kaizen (desirable)
* The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
