SEN Teaching Assistant (PMLD) – Church Village, Pontypridd

Key Responsibilities:
* Support and supervise learners with PMLD, ensuring their safety and wellbeing
* Assist learners at the start and end of the school day
* Help prepare classrooms for lessons and activities
* Work with learners in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, providing tailored support
* Support the delivery of lessons alongside the class teacher
* Assist learners during break times and lunch periods
* Engage learners in classroom and outdoor activities
* Follow the school’s behaviour management policies to promote positive behaviour
Essential Requirements:
* Minimum of 3 months’ experience working with children in educational or childcare settings; SEN experience is advantageous
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC); support available for registration
* Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
* Right to work in the UK
* Passion for supporting children with additional needs and a commitment to inclusive education
