Role: Pre-Assembler
Location: Kingswinford
Hourly Rate: £14.71ph
Duration: Temp to Perm
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday - 7.30am to 4.30pm
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Pre-Assembler to join our clients busy manufacturing and production team. This is a hands on role suited to someone with experience in assembly production warehouse or manufacturing work. As a Pre-Assembler you will prepare materials and work orders for production and ensure everything is ready for the assembly team, you will be working from drawings and customer specifications so good attention to detail and accuracy are important
The role will include:
Reviewing the work order system to identify the next job
Picking and moving materials ready for production
Decanting orders onto trolleys accurately
Moving work into the correct assembly queues
Distributing work to the relevant team members
Assembly and production work
Supplying materials to production areas as required
Moving and storing materials correctly
Loading and preparing products for dispatch
Carrying out basic checks on materials and products
Removing empty boxes and carts from the assembly area
Keeping the work area clean tidy and organised
Completing paperwork and system records when required
Following all Health and Safety procedures
About You:
The ideal Pre-Assembler will be reliable practical and comfortable working in a busy production environment
You will need
Previous assembly production warehouse or manufacturing experience is useful
Ability to work from drawings and customer specifications
Good attention to detail
Clear communication skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to multitask and manage different jobs
Good timekeeping and attendance
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential
This Pre-Assembler role would suit someone who enjoys hands on work and wants a long term opportunity with the potential to become permanent
