We are seeking an experienced Electrician to join a project East Grinstead.
The ideal candidate will have experience in occupied buildings, distribution boards and risers, safe isolation, 24V controls, MID meters/CTs, BMS, HVAC, and VRF systems
Key Responsibilities
Carry out commercial electrical installation works in accordance with project specifications and current regulations
Undertake distribution board modifications and electrical riser works
Install and connect secondary low voltage HVAC power supplies and control systems
Install transformers, miniature circuit breakers, cabling, and containment systems
Complete installation of VRF metering arrangements, including MID-approved meters and CTs
Install electrical supplies to roof-mounted cabinets and associated equipment
Carry out safe isolation procedures, inspection, testing, and certification of completed works
Produce accurate documentation, including labelling, photographs, test records, and redline drawings
Work safely and efficiently within an occupied commercial environment, minimising disruption to building users
Support project delivery and ensure works are completed to programme and quality standardsEssential Requirements
Valid ECS/JIB Gold Card
Recognised Level 3 Electrical Qualification
18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification
Strong commercial installation experience, particularly with distribution boards and power distribution systems
Experience working within occupied commercial premises
Good understanding of HVAC, BMS, VRF systems, metering installations, and associated electrical infrastructure
Strong awareness of health and safety procedures and best practice
