The Role
Our client is an established manufacturing company.
We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Coating Operatives/Laminators to join the production team. This is a hands-on manufacturing role.
Key Duties
Operate and assist with industrial machinery.
Load production machines.
Unload finished rolls following the coating process.
Monitor machinery throughout production and report any issues.
Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
Complete production paperwork and documentation accurately.
Prepare and set machinery ready for the next production run.
Assist with machine wash-downs and cleaning following completed jobs.
Handle and support the preparation of materials/chemicals where trained.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe production area.
Complete shift handovers and communicate production information to the incoming team.
Follow Safe Systems of Work, Health & Safety procedures and SOPs at all times.
Work closely with the Cell Leader and wider production team to meet targets and deadlines. These duties reflect our clients current manufacturing roles, where operators work across coating/converting processes, loading and unloading , preparing and cleaning machinery, completing documentation and following Safe Systems of Work.
Ideal Candidate
Previous experience within manufacturing, production, machine operating, chemicals, coating, printing or converting would be ideal.
Candidates should be physically fit due to the hands-on nature of the position, comfortable working around large industrial machinery and able to follow strict safety and quality procedures.
