Temporary to Permanent - Immediate Start

We are seeking a reliable and conscientious Assembly Operative to join our production team. As a manufacturing business, we undertake a wide variety of assembly projects for our customers, meaning no two days are the same. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly work to a high standard while following production documentation, quality procedures, and health and safety requirements.

This role would suit an individual who is detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working on a range of assembly tasks involving mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble products and components in accordance with engineering drawings, work instructions, and production procedures.
Carry out mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly operations to the required quality standards.
Perform wire preparation and crimping, including small and delicate assemblies.
Undertake soldering tasks using lead-free soldering techniques.
Use a variety of hand tools, assembly equipment, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
Conduct basic electrical testing and inspection activities.
Ensure all work is completed accurately and meets customer and company quality standards..
Use lifting equipment and pallet trucks safely when moving materials and finished products.Essential

Experience using general mechanical assembly tools.
Ability to read and understand assembly drawings, work instructions, and production documentation.
