About this job

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join a major construction project due to commence in late September 2026, with an anticipated duration of 10–11 months.

This is a site based Assistant Site Manager role supporting the project team with the administrative, technical and documentation side of the project. You will work closely with the site management team and subcontractors, ensuring that project paperwork, communication and records are maintained accurately and efficiently throughout the build.

Key responsibilities

* Managing material call-offs and coordinating deliveries with the relevant teams.

* Liaising with subcontractors and supporting day-to-day project coordination.

* Preparing, maintaining and managing RAMS documentation.

* Organising and recording site inductions.

* Maintaining the site register and associated project records.

* Managing RFIs, technical queries and responses.

* Recording and confirming project instructions to ensure a clear audit trail.

* Maintaining the project’s DREAM documentation and records.

* Supporting the site team with general project administration and document control.

* Ensuring all relevant paperwork is kept up to date and completed to the required standards.

About the role

As an Assistant Site Manager, you will be an important part of the site team, providing the organisational and administrative support needed to keep the project running smoothly from a documentation and coordination perspective.

The role would suit an Assistant Site Manager who is experienced in construction project administration, site coordination or document control, and who is comfortable working in a busy site environment. A good understanding of construction processes and terminology is important, as is the ability to communicate confidently with site management, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

The successful candidate will work alongside an extremely experienced site professional with many years of hands-on construction experience, providing complementary support on the project’s administrative and documentation requirements.

Project start: Late September 2026

Project duration: Approximately 10–11 months

Pay: From £200 per day - Negationable dependant on experience

Location: Site-based

If you are an experienced Assistant Site Manager looking for your next project opportunity and have strong construction administration and coordination skills, we would be keen to hear from you
