HRGO are recruiting a Production Supervisor for our client in Birkenhead. You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process and ensuring efficient production processes. You will lead a team of production workers, monitor production schedules, and maintain a safe working environment. Your role will involve coordinating with other departments to meet production goals, implementing quality control measures, and optimising production processes.
Role: Production Supervisor
Location: Birkenhead
Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Contract Type: Temp to perm
Pay: £16.50 per hour, paid weekly
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate production activities to meet production targets and quality standards
- Work in production together as a team with the operatives
- Train, mentor, and motivate production team members to achieve optimal performance
- Work closely with the H&S team to ensure production is undertaken in a safe environment
- Collaborate with other departments such as quality control, maintenance, and logistics to streamline production processes
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
- Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory position is essential
- Previous experience in a production environment is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and lead effectively
