Are you a passionate and dedicated PPA Teacher looking for your next opportunity this September?

We are working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Leyland that is seeking an enthusiastic PPA Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a full-time role for the Autumn Term, with the possibility of the position being extended as the school is considering recruiting on a longer-term basis.

Whether you're an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop your teaching experience or an experienced teacher seeking a fresh challenge, we'd love to hear from you.

The Role

As the successful PPA Teacher, you will:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons across different year groups in line with the National Curriculum.
Cover classes while teachers are released for their PPA time.
Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different pupils and abilities.
Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Establish strong relationships with pupils and maintain effective classroom management.
Work collaboratively with class teachers and colleagues to ensure consistency and the best outcomes for pupils.
Attend staff meetings, parents' evenings, and other school events as required.

The Ideal Candidate

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Has experience teaching across the primary age range, including placements for ECTs.
Is confident teaching different year groups and adapting quickly to new classrooms.
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills.
Is committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Is flexible, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
