Location: Manchester
Salary: £95–£110 per day, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, long-term

Engage Education are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in Manchester. We have opportunities in mainstream schools, specialist SEN settings and alternative provisions, supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to help pupils access learning, develop their confidence and achieve their potential.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Providing 1:1 and small-group support
* Supporting pupils with SEN and additional learning needs
* Assisting with classroom activities and differentiated work
* Supporting pupils with communication, social and emotional development
* Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation
* Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and life skills
* Working alongside teachers, SENCOs and pastoral teams
* Providing support in line with individual EHCPs and learning plans
We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from candidates with experience in:
* SEN/SEND education
* Teaching Assistant or Learning Support roles
* Schools, nurseries or specialist settings
* Care, youth work or support work
* Autism, ADHD, SEMH or complex needs
* Coaching, mentoring or working with children and young people
