Drainage CCTV Operator
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Pay: £12.71 per hour | £15.89 per hour overtime after 8 hours
Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 start, approximately 8 hours per day
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary – Approximately 6 weeks, with potential to extend
We are currently recruiting for a Drainage CCTV Operator to join an established environmental and drainage services company based in Plymouth.
Working alongside a specialist team of drainage operatives, you will assist with day-to-day drainage operations, including the use of CCTV equipment to inspect drainage systems.
This is a hands-on role in an outdoor environment and would suit someone with previous labouring, drainage, or gully cleaning experience who is looking to develop their skills within the drainage industry.
The Role
You will work as part of a specialist drainage crew, assisting with operational duties and CCTV inspections across a variety of sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting specialist drainage operatives with day-to-day tasks
* Operating CCTV equipment to inspect drainage systems
* Supporting gully cleaning and drainage operations
* Helping with the setup and use of equipment on site
* Recording and reporting findings from CCTV inspections
* Loading, unloading and moving equipment
* Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
Requirements
* Valid CSCS card – essential
* Previous labouring experience preferred
* Experience within drainage, gully cleaning or environmental services advantageous
* Comfortable working outdoors and undertaking physical work
* Reliable, punctual and willing to learn
* Able to work effectively as part of a specialist team
* Good awareness of health & safety procedures
